Trade Program Application Process

1. Submit Your Application
Complete the Trade Application Form on this page. Ensure all details are accurate to avoid delays.

2. Verification & Documentation
Our team will review your submission. You will receive an email requesting your Trade ID number and instructions for submitting your W-9 or W-8 forms.

3. Account Activation
Once your signed and completed forms are processed, your Trade Membership will be officially activated, and you will receive a confirmation email.

4. Access Your Benefits
Send your Trade ID to our trade team at trade@upphomestore.com before you order to get exclusive discounts of up to 20% and earn your commission.

5. Tax Exemption Requests
If you are eligible for tax exemption, you must submit a valid tax exemption certificate for the state where merchandise will be delivered. Please ensure your billing details match the certificate to have taxes waived.

Who is eligible for the UPP Home Store Trade Program?

Our Trade Program is exclusively available to interior designers, architects, and commercial designers based in the United States and Canada.

What happens after I submit my application?

Once we receive your application, you will receive a follow-up email requesting your Trade ID number along with instructions for submitting your W-9 or W-8 forms. Your Trade Membership will be officially activated once your signed and completed forms are processed.

What discounts are available to Trade members?

Members enjoy discounts of up to 20% on most furniture items. Please note the following conditions:

A minimum order of $2,000 applies.
Designer discounts cannot be combined with other offers.
Discounts do not apply to clearance items or highly customized products.
UPP Home does not authorize designers to list our products on their own websites for retail sale.

How much can I earn through commissions?

Commissions are calculated based on the merchandise subtotal (excluding delivery, installation, and tax charges). You will earn:

10% commission on delivered sales up to $49,999.
13% commission on delivered sales of $50,000 or more.

When and how are commissions paid?

Commissions are issued via wire transfer to your bank account on file. Payments are sent by the end of the month following the receipt of payment for the order.

How do returns or exchanges affect my commission?

Any returns, exchanges, or price adjustments made after a commission has been paid will be deducted from your commission balance in the following quarter.

When will I receive my tax forms (1099-MISC)?

If you earn over $600 in commissions during the calendar year, a digital 1099 tax form will be sent to your business email by the end of January.

How do I place a Trade order in-store?

Simply provide your Trade ID number at checkout to earn commissions. If your client plans to visit the store without you, please notify the store in advance or immediately after their purchase to ensure you receive credit.

How do I place a Trade order online?

To receive your discount and ensure commissions are credited to your account, please contact our online customer service team with your full Trade ID number before checking out. You can reach our Trade Sales Team at trade@upphomestore.com or by calling (551) 525-4005.

How can I receive tax exemptions?

To waive taxes, you must submit a valid tax exemption certificate for the specific state where the merchandise is being delivered. This must be provided with every order. Please note that the billing details on the order must match the information on your exemption certificate.
