About our tables

Nesting tables are a set of two or three small tables in graded sizes that slide under one another, so they take the space of one table when stacked and give you two or three surfaces when pulled apart. Ours come in solid walnut, oak and chestnut, in matte lacquer colours, and with epoxy details, mostly in the rounded Ercol pebble style. Customers have left 117 reviews on the nesting sets in this collection, with an average rating of 4.9 out of 5. The most reviewed is our solid walnut Ercol pebble nesting set, with 68 reviews, followed by the rustic oak nest of tables and the chestnut set of 3.

Which nesting tables can you choose from?

Can nesting tables be used as a coffee table?

Yes. Pushed together in front of a sofa, a set of three works as one low coffee table, and when guests arrive you pull the smaller tables out to sit beside chairs. This makes a nesting set a good choice for a small living room, where a full-size coffee table would block the walkway.

What size are the nesting tables?

Sizes vary by set. Our black Ercol pebble set, for example, runs from about 17 x 12 x 15 inches for the smallest table to 25 x 17 x 19 inches for the largest, and the walnut epoxy tables are about 19.7 inches across and 16.5 or 18.5 inches tall. Handmade sets vary by up to about 2 cm, and each product page lists its own measurements.

Shipping and warranty

Nesting sets ship faster than our made-to-order furniture, with about 3 to 5 days in transit for the Ercol style sets, and shipping is free to the United States and the United Kingdom. The solid wood structure is covered by a 10-year warranty. For larger tables, see our walnut coffee tables and walnut side and end tables.
