White Glove Furniture Delivery

White glove delivery ($199 per order, contiguous US) is available for dining tables, desks, beds, TV units, consoles and benches that are in stock or on the way to our Fairfield or Somerset showroom: about 1 week to prepare and 3 weeks in transit. In New York, New Jersey and Connecticut our own team delivers and assembles it; in other mainland states a partner company does. Choose it on the product page.

What Is Included

  • Scheduled delivery appointment with a two-person team
  • Room-of-choice delivery (including one flight of stairs; additional floors may require a fee)
  • Unboxing and packaging removal
  • Light assembly (attaching legs, leveling, basic fastening as needed)
  • Final placement and basic surface wipe-down

What Is Not Included by Default

  • Electrical work, wiring, or wall mounting
  • Assembly that requires specialized tools, drilling into walls, or masonry
  • Removal of existing furniture
  • Hoisting, balcony deliveries, or long carries beyond a standard distance

How It Works

  1. Choose White glove — Choose White glove on the product page before you add the piece to your cart. Forgot to add it? You can still add white glove within 24 hours of placing your order; contact us and we’ll send a secure payment link.
  2. Order — Place your order as usual on our website.
  3. Schedule — In New York, New Jersey and Connecticut we arrange your delivery and contact you to schedule it. In other mainland states our delivery partner contacts you to schedule the delivery. The delivery window and any building requirements are agreed then.
  4. Delivery Day — The delivery team delivers to your room of choice, assembles, places, and removes all packaging.
  5. After Delivery — Inspect your piece with the delivery team. If anything is not perfect, let us know on the spot and email photos to support@upphomestore.com within 7 days of delivery.

Customer Preparation Checklist

  • Measure doors, hallways, elevators, and stairways.
  • Clear a safe path and protect delicate flooring if needed.
  • Reserve elevator or loading dock time when applicable.
  • Secure pets during the appointment.

Timing and Availability

White glove pieces take about 1 week to prepare and about 3 weeks in transit. White glove is for pieces in stock or on the way to our Fairfield or Somerset showroom. Made-to-order pieces ship with standard delivery or Expedite (+$199 per item).

Rescheduling and Missed Appointments

You may reschedule up to 24 hours before your appointment at no charge.

Damage, Claims, and Returns

If you notice any damage, note it with the delivery team at handoff and contact us with photos within 7 days of delivery. We will arrange repair or replacement as appropriate. If you anticipate a return, please retain the original packaging. For full details, please see our Returns Policy.

    Let me be the first to say, I was a bit of a Karen when my table was delayed. When I ordered, I was under the impression that the table I was purchasing was in stock and would be shipped within 3 days. This was not the case. The table was custom built and this led to considerable delays in receiving it. I even accused the company of scamming me. I am SO HAPPY to report that this was NOT the case. I just received my beautiful, custom made table and it is exactly what I was hoping it would be! Despite my continued nagging, every response was kind, prompt, and professional. I couldnt be happier that I was so wrong about this company and would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for a custom piece that will last a lifetime and more. The table is heirloom quality and I would absolutely purchase again. The only reason I am giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the misleading information on the website.
