About our tables

A wooden dining table from UPP Home is a handcrafted solid wood table made to order in the size you choose, in walnut, oak or chestnut. This collection brings together every dining table we make, from 42 x 30 inch kitchen tables for two to 95 x 40 inch tables for ten, and round and oval tables up to 96 inches long. How do you choose a solid wood dining table?

Start with the size, then the shape, then the wood and the style. Plan on about 24 inches of table edge per person: a 60 x 30 inch table seats 4, 72 x 34 inches seats 6, 80 x 36 inches seats 8 and 95 x 40 inches seats 10. Leave about 36 inches between the table and the wall so chairs can be pulled out. Most of our tables stand 29.5 inches high, which works with standard dining chairs.

Where can you buy a handmade solid wood dining table near you?

If you are near New Jersey, New York or Connecticut, you can see our tables in person at our showrooms in Somerset and Fairfield, New Jersey. Elsewhere we ship free to the United States and the United Kingdom. Every table is made to order, with about 6 weeks to build and about 2 weeks in transit, or about 3 + 1 weeks with Expedite (+$199 per item). Tables already in our New Jersey stock are listed under Ready to Ship, and we send you photos of your finished table before it ships.

Warranty and returns

The solid wood structure and joinery are covered by a 10-year warranty, and tables in a listed size can be returned within 30 days of delivery in the US and Canada.

Are your dining tables solid wood?
Yes. They are made of solid walnut, oak or chestnut, and each product page names the wood. One round table, the Orbit, has an engineered wood top.
What size table seats 6?
A 72 x 34 inch rectangular table seats 6. For 8 people choose 80 x 36 inches, and for 10 people choose 95 x 40 inches.
Can I order a custom size?
Yes, from a quote. Custom pieces can't be returned for a change of mind, so we confirm the specification with you in writing before we start.
Where can I see your tables in person?
At our showrooms in Somerset and Fairfield, New Jersey.
How long does delivery take?
About 6 weeks to build and 2 weeks in transit, or about 3 + 1 weeks with Expedite. Tables in our New Jersey stock ship sooner.
