What we can change

Our dining tables can be changed in wood, size, finish, leg style and edge. Many other pieces can change size, leg height or fabric on request.

Size
Length, width and height made to your measurements.
Wood
Solid walnut, oak or chestnut. Order samples to see the grain at home.
Finish and colour
Lacquer in matte, satin or gloss, and stains from deep walnut tones to light natural shades.
Legs and base
The leg style or base, and the leg height.
Edge
The edge design, including natural live edges.
Seat fabric
Chair cushions in another fabric or colour.

How a custom piece works

Send the form below with the piece, size and wood you have in mind. A link to one of our designs helps.
2. Get a price and build date
We reply within 6 hours. Send photos, a sketch or room measurements in your reply to our email.
3. Approve and pay
You pay in full when you approve the quote, through a secure checkout link.
4. We build it
Your piece is made to order in the standard time for its kind (about 6 weeks for a table); we confirm the build date with your quote.
5. See it before it ships
Before your piece ships we send you photos. If you're not happy with it, we refund your payment.
6. Delivered to you
Delivery is free to the US and the UK; a custom table takes about 2 weeks in transit after the build.

Let me be the first to say, I was a bit of a Karen when my table was delayed. When I ordered, I was under the impression that the table I was purchasing was in stock and would be shipped within 3 days. This was not the case. The table was custom built and this led to considerable delays in receiving it. I even accused the company of scamming me. I am SO HAPPY to report that this was NOT the case. I just received my beautiful, custom made table and it is exactly what I was hoping it would be! Despite my continued nagging, every response was kind, prompt, and professional. I couldnt be happier that I was so wrong about this company and would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for a custom piece that will last a lifetime and more. The table is heirloom quality and I would absolutely purchase again. The only reason I am giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the misleading information on the website. The craftsmanship of the table is stunning. Just know you may have to wait a bit longer for a beautiful, custom piece of furniture.

We were looking for a dining table for about 2 years. Nothing seemed to be the “one”. We wanted a unique, solid wood piece. Not something made of manufactured wood. I found Upp furniture by simply googling local furniture stores. This place not only had the modern beautiful tables, but it had tables made of solid wood. We received the table today after being custom manufactured just for us. It is a beautiful and sturdy table. We also received amazing customer service throughout the buy process. They also have a showroom so you can visit them and physically see the furniture. We highly recommend Upp furniture for your next furniture piece.

Can I see the wood before I order?

Yes. Our wood sample pack has four samples and costs $20. You can also see our furniture at our showrooms in Somerset and Fairfield, New Jersey.

Which finishes are available?

A lacquer finish in matte, satin or gloss, and a range of stains from deep walnut tones to light natural shades.

Can I see my piece before it ships?

Yes. Before your piece ships we send you photos. If you're not happy with it at that point, we refund your payment.

Where do you deliver?

Shipping is free to the US and the UK. We also ship to other countries; the shipping cost is shown at checkout.

Can I return a custom piece after it ships?

No. Custom pieces are made to your order and can't be returned once they ship, so we send you photos before shipping. If a part arrives damaged, we replace it free. See our refund policy.
